Norfolk Daily News Contest
In honor of Mother's Day and Father's Day, we are looking for cute, funny, adorable or messy Mommy & Me or Daddy & Me pictures. Please be creative! A picture of Mom or Dad holding their child is welcome in the contest, but we really love creative photos that show that special connection between the two of them. Also take advantage of describing the photo! The story will help your entry get more votes. We want to see Moms with their daughters and sons, and Dads with both, too!
Deadline for submission is June 1, voting will begin on June 2, and the winner will be announced on June 9. Submit your photos and early and start telling your friends and family! Don't forget - you can comment on entries, too, so show your support!
You may submit your photo in one of two categories: Mommy & Me or Daddy & Me. Photos with both parents will not be accepted. Only one parent in each photo please. More than one child may be in the photo.
The 2012 Mommy & Me and Daddy & Me Winners will be awarded to the photos receiving the most votes in each category (who will be determined by the voting public). Feel free to share your photo with friends by email, Twitter or Facebook and encourage everyone to vote! Registration is required for voting.

First place - A family season pass to Norfolk's Memorial AquaVenture Water Park, one night's stay at the Country Inn and a meal for four at Bailey's Bistro, located inside the Country Inn in Norfolk - valued at more than $350!.
Second place - $25 in local restaurant gift certificates courtesy of Norfolk Right to Life.
Third Place - $25 in Burger King Bucks good at any Norfolk Location.
